Course Objective: The purpose of Speech is to allow students to become more comfortable speaking to a large group in more formal situations. Various types of speeches are required. Quizzes and impromptu speeches are also part of the course, though not listed, and speeches take the place of major tests. ALL speeches must be given at a satisfactory level in order to have a chance to pass the class. There will be a final exam on the exam day.
